The Dream Event 2025 – A Night to Remember
Held on October 25, 2025 at Andover Country Club, The Dream Event was a wonderful evening filled with inspiration, laughter, and community spirit. Thanks to our Sponsors and everyone who joined us, it was a true celebration of our Scholars and the mission that unites us.

To close the 2024–2025 school year, A Better Chance of Andover hosted its annual Scholar Celebration on June 1, a joyful evening honoring the growth and achievements of our Scholars. Executive Director Lenis emceed in her first year, while Resident Director Sandra introduced each Scholar and presented meaningful superlative awards celebrating character, compassion, and resilience.
The evening’s highlight was honoring graduating senior Janay, who will attend Brown University. Her Academic Advisor, Delia, and her host family, the Joyners, shared reflections and stories, followed by heartfelt remarks from Janay’s parents. Janay closed the night with a moving reflection on her four-year journey and the lasting impact of her ABC experience.
We are deeply grateful to the Cummings Foundation for their generous support of A Better Chance of Andover through their major grant program. Cummings Foundation was started by Joyce and Bill Cummings, who power charities by donating the large majority of Cummings Properties' commercial property to the Foundation.
